New Frye Boots and Shoes - Styles to Bring in Spring 2011

New Frye boots and shoes for March of 2011 have something in common with a number of the more original and traditional variations of shoes or boots from Frye - there is a timeless look that will most likely always be popular.

However - Especially for ladies, below are a few new designs to check out in the Frye line that are offered as of March 2011:

Maggie Perf Wingtip from Frye - Sleek is a good way to describe this shoe - It has a basic wingtip style but with a bit of a heel to give it a lift and perforated detailing to spice it up a bit. This is another “go with everything” design from Frye that could easily be considered a staple of a wardrobe.

Frye Carson Lace Up - I can almost not say enough about this new boot style! Although it features a distinct place in the Carson collection (with its familiar smooth western look), this style is a bootie or ankle design, having a lace-up front. Whether wearing denims or a dress, this boot will not simply fit right in, it will add some character to any look. List price for the Carson Lace-Up boot is $248.00.

Julia Grommet Lace Boot from Frye - While this boot also has a sort of eternal look about it, it also might be mentioned with reliability that it is one of the most distinctive and versatile boot styles in the entire Frye collection. It has 2 general ways it can be worn - down or up. When worn up it has a streamlined and smoother look, however when folded down and laced at the tongue it's gorgeous (at least in my estimation). In the past I've been relatively accurate about which shoes or boots from Frye will stay because of high demand - I think the Frye Julia Grommet Lace-Up boot is going to be one of the “keepers.” Retail store cost for this shoe is $278.00 for a leather/canvas version, $298.00 for the full leather boot.

Emma Woven Flat from Frye - This is just what I would call “the perfect springtime shoe.” It is crafted from interwoven leather lacing for the upper and might be easily worn with either jeans or skirts - and would add to the look either way. One of the wonderful things about this new shoe from Frye is the variety of colors it is available in - nine in all - so whether you would prefer a more colorful shoe or a slipper with a more earthy tone (or both), you can probably find exactly what you want. Retail price for the Frye Emma Woven ballet flat is $178.00.

Tamara Woven Slide from Frye - What I notice first about this shoe is its height - with a 5 inch heel, it is a style that women will either adore - or will perhaps make them run the other direction! However, it also has a 1 ½ inch platform, which brings the exact lift for the foot 3 ½ inches. All measurements aside, it is a lovely shoe which has both characteristics of being trendy and earthy - it has a leather upper with an open-toe design and leather lacing throughout. And - Frye is well known for making footwear comfortable, even those styles with a higher heel. Retail price for the Tamara Woven Slide is $228.00.

What about the lineup of new Frye boots and shoes 2011 is so special?  While words can help to describe them, they really should be seen to understand all of the reasons why.
